I'm linking up with Jennifer at Rowdy in First Grade. She thought it would be a good time to send out some positive vibes to all of those friends that are snowed it up North. Whew...I'm glad I live in the South!
Something Good at Home: My husband went out today to get us lunch. I started to get worried because he had been gone for a long time. You know a women's intuition...we just know when something is off. I called him and he didn't answer so I started to worry more. Turns out, he got in a fender bender in the parking lot. I was just glad it wasn't anything serious...can't depend on those cameras in the cars peeps! Turn around and look!
Something Good at School: It seems like everyone has a hard time right after break and before Valentines Day with behavior at school. Whenever I start having behavior issues at school, I try to figure out what I could be doing better as a teacher and I TRY not to blame it on the kids being rotten after being out of school for two weeks! I did two weeks of serious character education with my kiddos. We set a goal for ourselves to reach 100 acts of kindness by the time Valentines Day rolls around. You can read about it here . I've implemented some more positive reinforcement and it has made all the difference in the world. They are back to being their sweet little wonderful selves :)
Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Thanks for stopping by!
